Another fun pinterest project. Take coffee filters. Fold them in quarters and use paint dabbers to color them all over. Unfold them and let them dry. Refold them and cut them as you would to make paper snowflakes. The result is a wonderful see-through tie-dye snowflake decoration for the windows. I love the way the light goes through them. Finn was really into the whole process and any thing involving scissors and cutting these day is a winning activity. Josette, as usual, wrecked havoc and painted everything (including herself, of course), but also appeared to thoroughly enjoy the activity. She painted, she tore up coffee filters, she threw coffee filters from the table and wore them as hats. Good times!
- Josette still gets confused on where the paint goes.
- Beautiful colors with the sunshine.
- A festive backdrop for our tree.
